Join Scott Dillon as he presents at this year’s NASP Annual Conference November 11-14 at the Rosen Shingle Creek Resort in Orlando, Florida. Scott will present Increasing Recoveries by Playing the Spread. In a fire claim, the focus is often on the cause and origin of the fire and the associated liability. However, there may be additional avenues of liability based on the rate of fire spread when common construction materials lack required flame spread properties. Insufficient flame spread properties can cause rapid flame spread, a larger overall fire, and significantly more damage. Basic building code requirements for flame spread of materials and descriptions of some of the fire test methods for determining flame spread will be covered. Some pseudo-case studies of materials that can be an issue will also be discussed. Register now!
