Stefan D. Helgeson, AIA, ASLA

Stefan Helgeson, AIA, ASLA, brings the architectural perspective to Crane Engineering. He plays a key role in projects that require the deciphering of the possible failures of architectural designs or planning decisions. Much of Stefan's work relates to determining if structures and environments are in compliance with relevant codes and regulations, and the effect they have on a particular incident or outcome.

To conduct his evaluations, Stefan relies on more than 25 years of experience in designing, planning, programming and project management of institutional, commercial and housing projects. He has conducted dozens of field assessments of actual conditions, been instrumental in code research and interpretation, and served as an expert witness to present his professional opinion and results.

Stefan is a member of the American Institute of Architects and recipient of numerous awards, including two Smart Growth Design Awards in 2000.
