Hugh M. Robinson
Metallurgical Technician

Hugh Robinson provides laboratory support for the firm's research, testing and investigative services. He manages the company's laboratory facility; prepares metallographic samples; assists in failure analysis; and conducts evaluations of hardness, chemistries and tensile strength.

Hugh brings considerable metallurgical and quality control expertise to his role with the company. He worked for a number of years in the heat-treating industry and has in-depth knowledge of material capabilities, lab process development, distortion reduction and failure prevention, and microstructural improvements.

He is a certified quality engineer and has developed and implemented quality assurance procedures and reporting.

Hugh is a member of ASM International and the American Society of Quality Control.
