David J. Kramer, P.E.
Metallurgical Engineer

Dave Kramer has more than 30 years of experience in metallurgical engineering. He specializes in materials and process engineering and provides clients with failure analysis, design support, prototype and production fabrication, and manufacture-process analysis. He works closely with clients to resolve their metallurgical concerns and develop corrective-action plans.

Dave also evaluates product liability cases and insurance claims and has been working closely with adjusters, insurance agents and attorneys on major cases. Recently he has focused on plumbing and fire-sprinkler system issues.

He previously held management and technical positions where his responsibilities included mechanical testing of graphite/epoxy composites, developing powdered metal applications for military components, and selecting materials and finishes to meet military corrosion-protection requirements.

He also has managed quality control for a high-tech firm and has been a metallurgical engineer for a heavy-equipment manufacturer.

Dave is a member of ASM International, National Society of Professional Engineers, American Society for Testing Materials and National Fire Sprinkler Association.
