Matthew Jeske brings an intuitive understanding of—and passion for—technology to Crane Engineering. With the drive to improve clients’ use of IT, he oversees their needs for digital forensics and incident response (DFIR), e-discovery as well as data recovery. As a certified data forensic examiner, Matt assists clients across the industry to solve critical data-loss cases, manage human resource incidents and provides digital forensic support for situations involving intellectual property theft, fraud, harassment and other breaches of data security.
With a solid background in managed IT services, Matt draws on more than 15 years of experience as an entrepreneur, serving businesses with innovative IT design and networking support. In recent years, he served simultaneously as a manager and client liaison for a leading, regional IT provider, assisting organizations to optimize their IT infrastructures with web-based and cloud offerings, hardware and software solutions, among other managed services.
Matt is a GIAC Certified Forensic Examiner (GCFE) by the SANS Institute. He holds a degree in Applied Computer Technology with a concentration in Network Administration from Academy College.
He speaks to local and regional industry associations on how firms can use their digital data to protect intellectual property and identify data loss and theft in the workplace.
