Since 2002, Adam Wise has specialized in motor vehicle accident investigation and reconstruction as a mechanical engineer with Crane Engineering. His areas of consulting experience include accident site and vehicle inspection and documentation; evidence preservation; airbag control module (“black box”) data retrieval and analysis; computer simulation of motor vehicle crashes; vehicle dynamics; test instrumentation and data analysis; and motorcycle, ATV, and automobile testing and design analysis. Adam is dedicated to providing clients with clear, concise analysis and conclusions and is skilled at communicating those findings to both technical and lay audiences.

Adam holds a Master’s of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Wisconsin-Madison and Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of New Hampshire. Prior to joining Safety Engineering Associates, he held research and engineering positions at the University of Wisconsin-Madison’s Powertrain Control Research Laboratory and the Space Science Center at the University of New Hampshire.

Adam is a Registered Professional Engineer in Wisconsin, an ACTAR Accredited Traffic Accident Reconstructionist, and a Certified Crash Data Retrieval System Operator and Data Analyst. He is also a member of the National Association of Professional Accident Reconstructionist Specialists (NAPARS) and the Society of Automotive Engineers (SAE).
