About Crane Engineering

Scott Sollars has a solid background in mechanical systems, machine design analysis, safety and hazard evaluation, machine guarding, combustion mechanics, and fuel-gas systems and components. He has extensive experience conducting site inspections, particularly those involving product liability.

Scott is trained in asbestos abatement and hazardous material operations. He operates the firm's analog and electronic test equipment. He also serves as the company's safety coordinator.

Scott has maintained and managed the on-plant natural gas distribution system and directed maintenance of an off-plant natural gas pipeline. In addition, he has been responsible for designing and managing the construction of HVAC systems, fire protection systems and plumbing systems.

He is a member of the American Society of Heating, Refrigerating & Air-Conditioning Engineers; American Society of Mechanical Engineers; International Association of Arson Investigators; National Fire Protection Association; and National Society of Professional Engineers.
